Calling All HENRYs!

The term HENRY is short for High Earners Not Rich Yet and characterises younger people, mostly millennials and Gen Zs who have relatively high earnings and little by way of savings. The term was first coined in a 2003 Fortune Magazine article.

According to a New York Post article HENRYs don’t feel particularly wealthy preferring to spend their earnings to maintain their lifestyle – travelling to the latest destinations, eating at trendy restaurants or splurging on spa treatments – rather than save for their future.
